Our Promises to You
(Effective February 23, 2007)
• Our Promise to You of SERVICE.
Our
exclusive in-home Warranty is included on all of our home organs
(except on “as-is” sales). Ask your salesperson for details.
• Our Promise to You of ASSISTANCE.
Three (3) in-store help sessions are included to assist you in learning how to operate your newly purchased home organ.*

Home organ models will vary in each store location. Help sessions under
Our Promises to You will be conducted on the most similar model
available on the store floor and not necessarily the exact organ model
you purchased. Help sessions under our Our Promises to You are 30
minutes in length, arranged with a sales associate and offered during
normal organ store hours. Help sessions must be scheduled within 90
days of your organ purchase date.

The organ which
you purchase from Schmitt Music (unless identified "as-is" with no
warranty) carries Schmitt's Limited New or Used Organ Warranty. Our warranty
service attitude has always been the same and remains the same today:
If a piano is defective we will make it right at no cost to the
customer, and with as little inconvenience as possible.
Our Promise To You...
Conditions of Warranty
If
during the warranty period from the date of original purchase, your organ is found by Schmitt's to have a defect in material or
workmanship, Schmitt's will repair such defect without charge for parts
or labor.
In the event Schmitt's determines that the defect
cannot be repaired, then Schmitt's is willing to replace the defective
instrument with an identical one, or one which is a reasonable
equivalent.
Naturally,
normal maintenance work and the results of normal wear, are not covered
by this warranty, and the warranty only applies to instruments sold for
use and remaining within 100 miles of the Schmitt’s location where you
purchased your instrument.
Your Responsibilities as Owner
In order for Schmitt's to provide proper warranty service, it is necessary that the purchaser assume certain responsibilities.
1.
Notify Schmitt's Service Dept. at (763)566-6280 or 1(866)760-4347
within ten days of the discovery with a detailed explanation of the
problem.
2. Permit Schmitt's to inspect and provide warranty service which shall be completed within a reasonable time.
Proper Maintenance & Use
Your
new instrument, like any other product, should be properly used and
maintained. Schmitt’s warranty does not apply to failures caused by the
following:
1. Improper maintenance or repair.
2. Abnormal strain, neglect, abuse, modification or exposure to sunlight, or to extremes in temperature or humidity.
3. Accidental damage.
Warranty Information
This
warranty is non-transferable and non-assignable to subsequent owners of
this instrument. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you
may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
